Privacy Policy — Stock Count

Last updated: July 3, 2026

1. Introduction

Connect I.T E.E ("we", "our", or "us") develops the Stock Count mobile application (the "App", Google Play package gr.ewhms.stockcount). This Privacy Policy complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (EU) 2016/679 and explains what the App does and does not do with your data.

In short: the App has no backend of ours — we operate no server that receives, stores, or processes your data. Your data stays on your device and is exchanged only with your own SAP Business One server. We do not collect analytics, advertising identifiers, or any personal data about you.

2. Data Controller

The provider of the App is:

Connect I.T E.E
Chatzistavrou 3
Xanthi, 67100
Greece
Email: privacy@connectit.gr
Phone: +30 25410 64089

Because the App stores data only on your device and communicates only with your own SAP Business One system, Connect I.T does not receive or hold your personal data. Where the data in your SAP system contains personal data, your organisation is the data controller and Connect I.T is only the provider of the software that connects to it.

3. What the App Accesses, and Why

SAP connection settings

Server address, port, company database and username are stored in the App's local storage on your device. Your SAP password is stored encrypted in the Android Keystore (secure storage) and is used only to authenticate to the SAP server you configured. These are sent only to your SAP server, to log in.

Item, warehouse and count data

So you can count offline, the App downloads item master data, barcodes, and warehouse/bin data from your SAP server and caches it on your device. Your counted quantities ("count lines") are also stored on the device. This data is exchanged only between your device and your SAP server — we never see it.

Camera (barcode scanning)

With your permission, the App uses the camera to scan barcodes on-device. Frames are processed in real time to read a code; no photos or video are stored or transmitted.

Bluetooth (external readers)

With your permission, the App connects to Bluetooth barcode/RFID sled readers (e.g. Zebra) to receive scanned barcodes and RFID tag EPCs. Bluetooth is used solely to receive scan data from a reader you pair; the App does not use Bluetooth to determine or track your location.

Network / Internet

Used only to (a) reach the SAP server you configured and (b) communicate with Google Play for subscriptions.

Local-network sharing (optional)

If you use the multi-device counting feature, session data is shared directly between devices on your own local Wi-Fi/LAN. No data is sent to us or to any cloud service.

Export / Share

You can export a count as a CSV file and share it through the Android share sheet. This is initiated by you, and the data goes only to the destination you choose.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

The App offers an optional subscription through Google Play Billing. Payments are processed by Google; we do not receive or store your payment details or card information. The App only reads from your Google Play account whether an active subscription exists, in order to unlock features. See Google's Privacy Policy at policies.google.com/privacy. The free tier allows counting up to 1,000 items without a subscription.

5. Data We Collect About You

None. The App does not create an account with us, does not send us analytics or crash reports, and contains no advertising or third-party tracking SDKs.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

All App data is stored locally on your device. You can:

  • delete an individual counting session in the App to remove its cached items and count lines;
  • clear the App's storage or uninstall the App to remove all local data, including stored SAP settings and the securely stored password.

Data held in your SAP system is governed by your organisation's own retention policies.

7. Data Security

  • Your SAP password is stored using the Android Keystore (encrypted secure storage).
  • Connections to SAP use HTTPS (TLS). If you enable "self-signed certificate" mode for an internal SAP server, certificate validation is relaxed for that one server only, at your choice.
  • No business data leaves your device except to the SAP server you configure.

8. Your Rights Under GDPR

Because Connect I.T does not collect or hold your personal data through the App, requests to access, correct, or delete personal data contained in your SAP system should be directed to your organisation (the data controller). For any personal data you believe Connect I.T holds, you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, and withdrawal of consent. To exercise these rights, contact privacy@connectit.gr.

9. Children

The App is a business tool and is not directed to children under 16.

10. Changes to This Policy
